Favorite Things Friday: Eureka AirSpeed One and a Giveaway!
Some of you might remember a few weeks ago our family was given a Eureka AirSpeed One as part of Eureka’s “Random Acts of Clean” promotion. I am a big fan of our Eureka steam mop, so I was excited to see how the AirSpeed One would work. I know reading reviews can be a bit boring, so I shot a 3 minute video with a quick product walk-through while using the AirSpeed One to clean our travel trailer…

The AirSpeed One packs a lot of power into a light, affordable package. We have been putting the new vacuum through the paces for about a month now. The Eureka has A LOT of suction and a powerful brush. It has several settings for a variety of surfaces and carpet heights, which you will need to use to keep the brushes from working too hard. The only bad thing I have to say about the AirSpeed One is that the labels are hard to read for the switch that directs the suction to the floor or through the vacuum hose.
I think one of the best parts of the AirSpeed One is the accessories. My favorite is the upholstery brush with a spinning brush that is powered by the suction of the AirSpeed One accessory hose. This brush does a great job of getting all the crumbs that seem to wind up on the couch. There is also a crevice tool and a sweeper nozzle for rounding up dust. The accessories are all securely stored on the vacuum where they are quickly accessible.
The AirSpeed One feels like a solid piece of equipment for a vacuum in the price range of $50 to $60. The dirt canister is easily removed so it can be dumped out and cleaned. It is nice to have a vacuum that doesn’t use bags. I also enjoy watching the dirt, fur and other debris spin around in the canister as I clean…it makes me feel like I’m accomplishing something. The Eureka AirSpeed One is a solid all-around cleaning machine. It did well in our house with dirt, dust, cat hair, kitty litter, human hair and anything else that needed to be sucked up.
I am excited to be doing my first giveaway at DadisLearning.com. Since I was given an AirSpeed One I want to give you the chance to win one too…or a $50 Amazon gift card if you already have a vacuum that you love. There is a widget below that will allow you to enter the contest to win an AirSpeed One. (You’ll need to do a quick ‘log in’ for the widget so I know who is entering the contest.) I’m giving you one free entry and you can earn up to four entries by doing any or all of the following: tweeting this post, liking the Dad is Learning Facebook page, subscribing to Dad is Learning by email, and following @Dad_is_Learning on Twitter. If you have already done any of those things, you can still use the corresponding additional entry. All of your info stays with me so you won’t be getting spammed by anyone.
All of you guys have helped me get further with this blog than I expected to be by now so I wanted to give something back. This contest will be open till 11:59pm on Thursday, April 25. A winner will be picked at random by the app and will be announced on Friday, April 26 and notified via email. Good luck! Make sure to share this post on Facebook and Twitter. The more participants this giveaway gets the more likely it will be that we have more giveaways in the future. When the winner is notified they can tell me if they want the vacuum or the Amazon gift card.
Disclaimer: We were given the Eureka AirSpeed One for free as part of a promotion. This did not influence my review of the product. Eureka has no affiliation with this giveaway. I liked the product so I wanted to give on to you guys…pay it forward. This is my first giveaway so there might be some glitches. Good luck!
This new place is mostly laminate flooring. What I would really love is a a vacuum with a 20 foot hose for the stairs, since that is where almost half of all my carpeting is. Either that or the cordless Dyson.
Sounds like you need a central vacuum. They have ports on the walls and I’ve seen them with hoses that are 20+ feet long. I’ve only seen a few houses with them but they are incredible.
Please pick me!!
We’ll see what the computer says Hanna. Thanks for entering!
