Family Devotional: Faith of Abraham Part 2
Welcome back! I appreciate all the kind words people have shared with me about their experiences with these Bible studies. I have been enjoying putting them together and have been listening to suggestions from readers as well as lessons learned from doing the studies with my own family. I have shortened the studies to one page and have included a review of the previous week’s lesson.
We are a week behind in the studies at our house. I sat down last night to do the Abraham part 1 with our 5 year-old daughter. The baby was asleep and Mama had already gone to bed because she was not feeling well. It was a nice time to spend with my daughter. I am always amazed at how much Bible this little girl already knows. That is a credit to her Mama, her grandparents and her Bible class teachers. She was able to answer most of my questions about Abraham and Sarah before we even had our study. She definitely has her Mama’s memory!
I encourage you to use these devotional guides as a loose outline for devotional time with your family. Obviously I have the advantage of knowing the material before sitting down to do the study, since I wrote it. I would encourage parents to read through the material first and then only reference the material for verses or a specific question.
God bless you in your studies with your family >>> Week 5 – Faith of Abraham part 2
