Elf on the Shelf, Christmas Bonus & Treadmill Desk: A Year Ago on Dad is Learning
As I mentioned last week, I am going to try a few posts on Wednesdays looking back at a year ago on the blog. This week features three of the most popular posts on DadisLearning.com….
Elf on the Shelf Ideas and Observations
We have an “Elf on the Shelf” and his name is Pete. We don’t go over the top with Pete but we have some fun. This post is my Pinterest darling. The number of clicks coming in from Pinterest and search engines right now is pretty amazing. Next week I have a follow-up post planned with some of our 2013 Elf on the Shelf photos.
Give Yourself A Christmas Bonus
I’m pleased to say that the “credit card game” worked for Christmas 2013. Citi Bank was kind enough to give us $460 in bonus money simply for using their card. Since we have paid no fees this year it all works out very well. As an added bonus, my Thank You Points are now tied directly into my Amazon account to spend just like cash. There is some other good financial advice in this post that I have been living out in the last year.
Treadmill Desk (or) How Computer Nerds Live Long and Prosper
This is my most popular post. I am shocked by how many people wind up on my site (or DIYTreadmillDesk.com) because they are searching for information about treadmill desks. I wrote an update about walking and working on Monday, in case you missed it.
