Evernote, Little Hands, Smartphone Coupons, and Sugar: A year ago…
After a holiday break, it is time to take a look back at what I was writing about a year ago. It is truly a diverse collection of posts…
Little Hands, Big Hearts – This was the post that fueled the idea for the family devotional series I wrote throughout 2013. Our children are amazing teachers when we stop and listen. They have little hands and BIG hearts.
Savings Roundup: December – A quick roundup of some money saving things we do. I wrote about saving money using our smartphones which we continue to do. In fact, it has gotten much easier. I also wrote about using Google to do my own appliance repair and Recyclebank which has given us some nice rewards simply for taking our recycling bin to the curb.
A Spoon full of sugar… – I think this is still one of my most haunting posts. Just go look at the photos I took of the sugar I was consuming in Dr. Pepper. That ‘1 week’ measurement of sugar is ASTOUNDING. These photos are hit daily by search engines.
Favorite Things Friday: Evernote – I don’t know how I would exist without Evernote. I keep a running journal of interesting posts and lesson ideas cataloged in the app. Just today I have probably added 3 lesson ideas, 2 recipes, and a few other articles of various interest. Tag your items with a few keywords and you have a powerful resource. It is an amazing piece of organizational technology!
